Directed algebraic terms for insurance

Good day students, in this post ill teach you how to solve issues when it comes to directed algebraic terms.We say , an algebraic terms is a term that comprises the  product variable s and letters of alphabets.Something like : 2a , 3 x t = 3t , 3 x 2 x 2 x n = 3 x2 x n = 6n an so on...

Therefore, any equation such as , 2 x a , 1/4c and -5 is called an algebraic term. Also we say that any two or more numbers join together with alphabet , mathematical signs such as  addition, subtraction, multiplication even division is known as Algebraic Term.

Now let calculate directed numbers, we say that, the directed numbers always go with positive and negative sign. There are rules you must follow before you can operate directed numbers. The rules are:

Rules

multiplication rules

i. (+) x (-) = (-) --- means, when two  or more numbers go's with - and + sign = -

ii. ( +) x (+) = (+)  --means, when two  or more numbers go's with + and + sign = +

iii. (-) x (-) = ( +) --means, when two  or more numbers go's with - and - sign = +

iv. (-) x (+) = (-) --means, when two  or more numbers go's with - and + sign = +

To calculate directed numbers you must follow the rules...

Division rules

i. (+) ÷ (-) = (-) --- means, when two  or more numbers go's with - and + sign = -

ii. ( +) ÷ (+) = (+)  --means, when two  or more numbers go's with + and + sign = +

iii. (-)  ÷ (-) = ( +) --means, when two  or more numbers go's with - and - sign = +

iv. (-)  ÷ (+) = (-) --means, when two  or more numbers go's with - and + sign = -

Exercise

Simplify each of the following

 i.    2- (-3) x (+3)

ii.  (-4) x (- 5)

iii. 3 -  (+5)c ÷ (-3)

iv. 6a x (-5b )  ÷  (-2)

Solution

 i.     2- (-3) x (+3) ---  - x - = + also 2 x 3 = 6

  =  (+6) x  (+3)

   =  + ( 6 x 3 )

  = +18

ii. (-4) x (- 5)

    =  + ( 4 x 5 )  -  x - = +

  =  +20

iii. 3 -  (+5)c ÷ (-3)

                3 - ( +5)
    =     -----------------x c
                    ( -3)

           - ( 3 x 5 )
  =   ---------------- x c (-  ÷ - = +)
               -3

            + 15
   =    ----------c
              3

      =  5c

iv. 6a x (-5b )  ÷  (-2)

                  6a x (-5b)
        =       --------------------
                    (-2)

                        -    ( 6 x 5)
     =            ------------------  x a x b -  ÷ - = +
                               -2

                      +30
        =      -------------ab
                       2

       =            15ab

I believe you understand the above examples with the rules applied, all what you have to do is to master the rules in expressing direct numbers. - x = + ,  + x - = - , - x - = + and + x + = +

     what about this

                   12a²b x  9 ab³
        =      ----------------------
                      4a² x 3ab⁴

               12 x 9 x a x a² x b³
    =     ----------------------------
               4 x 3 x a² x a x b⁴

                    108 x  b³
       =   --------------------- =   9b
                     12  x  b⁴

how many a and b we have 2 a with a² and 2 a without power also 1 b with  b⁴, the same a with a² will go and a without   ²  will also go, then b( 4 - 3) you will not keep the  1 that means only 1 b remain.

Now solve these

Simplify the following equations

1. - 2(-3) x (+4)

2. 5-(+5) x -(+2)

3. 45a ÷ (-5)

         -3             abc
4   -------- of  ---------
         4               -5
